Memorial Commemoration
August 28, 2025
Montco, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, U.S.A.
To honor the beloved heroic brother and fallen soldier, we have built a memorial in Montco, Pennsylvania. We completed all the construction and landscaping work with no paid building contracts, except the fabrication of the granite memorial marker. This decision not only underscores our deepest respect and love but also reflects a firm commitment to the values that bind our family together. We crafted every element of the project with care, using materials that are proudly sourced from within the United States, ensuring that our contributions support local economies and promote sustainable practices. The centerpiece of these memorial constructions holds significant meaning for many of us. It stands as a tribute to the courage and sacrifices made by veterans, including our beloved father, brave uncle-in-law (whom the communists cruelly executed in the concentration camp in Vietnam), and heroic brother who died for South Vietnam in Pleiku-Quy Nhon. This memorial specifically honors our former Republic of Vietnam and the sacrifices the United States soldiers and others have given to protect South Vietnam. With permission from the local authorities, careful planning, and utmost respect, the display of the American and Republic of Vietnam flags exhibited an important acknowledgment of the history and stories that our community cherishes. This memorial project serves as a powerful reminder of the past while also paving the way for future generations to reflect on their history. By relying on our ingenuity and hard work, we create a space that not only memorializes those who have protected our former country but also fosters a sense of pride and unity among the community. Together, we build a lasting legacy, rooted in collaboration and a shared commitment to honoring our history, all with our own hands and sweats.
