Never Forget

September 7, 2025

Montco, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, U.S.A.

As a former pilot from South Vietnam, now a Vietnamese American scientist, I aim to honor and create a memorial for my older brother, a soldier who sacrificed his life in 1971 for our former country, the Republic of Vietnam. While working on the construction with my own hands, I unexpectedly witnessed mystical phenomena that believers might interpret as signs of the divine. I might also have stumbled upon evidence of time travel, as depicted in a well-known movie, "Back to the Future," through an old photograph taken about 54 years ago from my brother’s funeral. I will investigate this discovery further and find someone who may be knowledgeable about the "time travel" phenomenon to verify and validate the findings. According to artificial intelligence information, time travel is a conceptual idea, but moving into the future is scientifically possible through phenomena like time dilation, which occurs when an object travels at speeds close to the speed of light. Traveling to the past, however, is much more complex and raises paradoxes, though some theories involving wormholes suggest it might be theoretically possible under certain extreme conditions. Most reported instances of time travel are hoaxes or misinterpretations of fiction. So, for now, I will keep this potential discovery unpublished until I can fully verify and validate it with experts in this field.

Memorial Site Preparation and Construction

PHASE 0

Select Private Land in Montco, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

Nestled within lush greenery and gentle hills, this special place is more than just a destination; it is a sanctuary for our souls to heal and explore the meaning of life. Here, the atmosphere hums with heart rhythms as the sounds of chirping birds and rustling leaves blend into a symphony of nature, forming a perfect backdrop for both remembrance and forgotten.

PHASE 1

Secure Memorial Site with Emerald Green Arborvitae Trees

PHASE 2

Construct Memorial Foundation

PHASE 3

Fabricate and Install Granite Memorial Marker (410 lbs or 186 kgs)

I am genuinely thankful to have completed this project, at the age of 71, without any significant permanent injuries. My wife kept a close eye on my safety and ensured that I consumed more food than usual to keep my strength up. Our children helped transport heavy items. Everyone in my family, including Teddy, has been amazing, motivating me to keep moving forward every day. Following my aunt's death and funeral in Orange County, CA, a transitional depression nearly stopped the project. However, reflecting on her conversations from several months earlier, and the need to restore Brother Giới's honor, urged its completion, even when things seemed impossible, like moving the 410-lb-granite memorial marker. Because of the tombstone company's 6-week delay due to the special design and order, I wanted to install it myself right away upon delivery to catch up. My wife said it was unbelievable; she mentioned that Brother Giới and Aunt Môn had helped me to complete the whole project.
